The Complete 2026 Timeline
Winter: The Great Reset (January – March)
- January 26Neptune enters Aries. After 14 years in Pisces, the planet of dreams begins a 13-year run in the sign of action. Collective imagination gets a spine — visions turn into missions.
- February 13Saturn enters Aries. The taskmaster starts a stay that lasts into 2028. Themes: self-reliance, courageous responsibility, building identity on bedrock.
- February 17Annular solar eclipse in Aquarius — a "ring of fire" new moon of collective fresh starts. The same day, Chinese New Year opens the Year of the Fire Horse.
- February 20Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0°44 Aries. The event of the year — a meeting of structure and spirit at the zodiac's first degree, roughly once every 36 years. What begins now echoes for decades.
- Feb 25 – Mar 20Mercury retrograde in Pisces. Fuzzy facts, missed messages, poetic misunderstandings. Re-read everything twice.
- March 3Total lunar eclipse in Virgo. A culmination in work, health and daily routines — unsustainable systems reach their natural end.
Spring: The Future Arrives (April – June)
- April 25Uranus re-enters Gemini (until 2033). The awakener finishes its Taurus era and settles into the sign of information. Communication, learning, transport and technology enter a seven-year revolution.
- June 29 – July 23Mercury retrograde in Cancer. Family threads, housing paperwork and old emotional conversations come back for a second pass.
- June 30Jupiter enters Leo (for one year). The luck planet moves from quiet Cancer into show-stopping Leo: creativity, romance, performance and visibility expand. Fire signs feast; everyone gets braver.
Summer: Eclipse Season Peaks (July – September)
- August 12Total solar eclipse in Leo — the most dramatic sky event of 2026, with totality crossing parts of the Arctic, Greenland, Iceland and Spain. A once-in-years new beginning for matters of the heart, creativity and leadership.
- August 28Partial lunar eclipse in Pisces. An emotional release valve — endings around escapism, old dreams and unfinished spiritual business.
- SeptemberThe clear channel. No retrogrades of Mercury or Venus, eclipse season done — 2026's cleanest month for launches, moves, weddings and big decisions.
Autumn: The Great Review (October – December)
- October 3 – Nov 13Venus retrograde, Scorpio → Libra. The relationship audit of the year. Exes resurface, values get renegotiated, aesthetics shift. Review commitments; don't start new ones.
- October 24 – Nov 13Mercury retrograde in Scorpio — overlapping Venus retrograde. Three weeks of double-checking everything about love, money and shared resources. Both end November 13.
- November 13Venus and Mercury turn direct together. The fog clears at once — decisions made after this date stick.
- DecemberForward motion. A clean close to the year: act on everything the autumn review taught you.

How the Big Ingresses Rank
Not all planet moves are equal. Neptune and Saturn entering Aries (January–February) are generational: neither has been in Aries since the 1970s–1990s, and their February 20 conjunction is the rarest alignment of the year. Uranus in Gemini (April 25) is the seven-year story — last time it ran, the world rebuilt its communication systems. Jupiter in Leo (June 30) is the one you'll feel fastest: within weeks, boldness starts getting rewarded. For how each shift lands on your sign, open your 2026 horoscope.
